I truly love Tom Zuba’s book “Permission to Mourn.”  As a society, we’ve gotten away from allowing a family true time to grieve. We were extremely fortunate that my husband’s work understood and allowed him time off. Most people/companies expect you to go back to life as usual right after the funeral and that doesn’t happen. This book I felt gave me permission to take my time and explained that grief isn’t a lineal path. If you take a few steps back it’s okay. Truly an amazing book and I highly recommend it.
